Playoff Hockey in Tampa
Since 2010, I’ve attended at least one Boston Bruins playoff game every season. It’s a fun little tradition, and while I love watching the games in Boston, I’ve also enjoyed seeing Boston play on the road.

…We arrived back into Dubrovnik in the early afternoon. The old city has seen a huge increase in tourism recently, especially from Game of Thrones fans that travel to see many filming locations; the city is the primary filming location for the show’s King’s Landing. Even though it was shoulder season, it was still quite busy. Traffic and parking were a nightmare.
…We got an early start the following morning to drive south to Kotor, Montenegro, located about 2 hours south of Dubrovnik. The Sheraton Dubrovnik had an excellent breakfast buffet, which we enjoyed before journeying out.
…While Croatia has become an incredibly popular destination, it wasn’t the country I was most looking forward to on this trip. Neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina has long been on my list, specifically the town of Mostar.
…For our one night in Split, I had booked a room at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa. The rate was quite affordable, at 115 EUR, owing to the fact that we were visiting in spring. During the summer rates can easily surpass 300 EUR per night.
…In the past few years, interest in the Adriatic region of Europe has increased substantially, in large part to HBO’s Game of Thrones. Much of the show is filmed in Croatia, and the country has seen a huge influx of tourism.
The Adriatic is beautiful, and I greatly enjoyed my visit to Slovenia in 2014. While much of this trip would be in Croatia, my friend and I also planned day trips to Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

…Hello everyone! Today is an incredibly exciting day as the Airbus A350 enters service for Delta Air Lines! I purchased a seat (in Delta’s new Suites class!) several months ago when the inaugural route was announced, and I’m thrilled to be able to share my experience in real time today! I shouldn’t have any trouble updating while on board, as Delta’s equipped their A350 with 2Ku WiFi. However, if you want more photos, you can also check out my Snapchat Story of today’s events @mspgabe.
…On the way back to Munich from Karlovy Vary, we decided to take a detour and check our Nuremberg. While Nuremberg is perhaps most well known for the War Tribunals after World War II, my friend and I wanted to explore the beautiful city, admire the architecture and enjoy some great German food.
…The Czech Republic (or Czechia) has been one of the most popular European destinations the past several years. Many airlines are adding flights to Prague at least seasonally to keep up with increased demand. While Prague’s been high on my list for quite some time, my first time in Czechia was in the much lesser known, but just as beautiful, Karlovy Vary.
